Located in the hall W4, stall A14; the stall attracted worldwide customers and significantly Chinese customers.

New suite of intelligent products - PREMIER iQON, is the New Standard in Foreign Fibre and White PP clearing. It is the first clearer to use a combination of Visible light and InfraRed technology. The Visible light is used to detect colour contamination such as Jute, Colour fibre etc. InfraRed technology is used to detect contamination that is of the same colour as the parent yarn, but of a different material. e. g. White PP.

The product suite on display included the new Yarn fault classification system ClassiQON which classifies White Polypropylene into 12 classes and helps to quantify the amount of deviation across positions / samples tested and alerts user on the deviation independently on White PP, Foreign Fibre and Mass. Several graphical reports enable quick recognition of deviations in the Quality.

PREMIER ART 2 (High Volume Fibre Tester) with a full function Gravimetric Trash option was displayed. The Gravimetric Trash is functionally integrated with the ART2 central processor. The module eliminates the need for multiple passes and has automatic trash collection and weighment which results in a fast, precise and user friendly measurement. New features in ART 2 include True Maturity; a unique method of measuring the maturity, ensures traceability to image based maturity measurement. An Automatic Moisture Measurement and strength correction avoids the impact of environmental conditions. A built-in RH sensor, engineering calibration using metal plugs for the automated micronaire module and an improved front end report provides greater flexibility to the user.

The aQura2 upgraded with a host of software features like the Process chart, Nep difference percentage, length difference percentage and the Combing optimization index arms the user to control the process more efficiently. The primary features include True Neps; a process optimization tool for carding and combers. True Short Fibre; enables to optimize the final yarn quality, especially imperfections such as thick places.

The new contamination detector Xeni 2 provides a complete solution for contamination detection in the blow room. The Xeni 2 employs no “deaf zone” ultrasonic sensors for detecting white PP and a CCD array and its associated high speed image processing to detect contaminants of various types and sizes.

iQ QualiCenter, the world’s most intelligent Evenness Tester comes with a new parameter, Hair Severity, which redefines the way the yarn hairiness is currently measured. Hair Severity reflects the seriousness of the longer hair in spinning, weaving and knitting. A guidebook containing applications, statistics and technology information is now available.
